Hua Tuo (c. 140-208 CE), a revered physician of the Eastern Han Dynasty, is celebrated as China’s “Medical Saint” for his groundbreaking contributions to medicine. He is credited with developing Ma Fei San, the first known anesthetic, and creating the Wuqinxi (Five Animal Play) qigong system to promote health and vitality.
